Before Exam Day

1. Please make an appointment at the Rose Center for Preventive Medicine (4700 E. Hale Parkway, Suite 120) approximately 10 days prior to your exam for blood testing. For your convenience, arrangements can also be made for blood to be drawn at a Quest Diagnostics center near your home or work. Please call in advance to allow us to make arrangements (phone: 303-320-2400).

2. Do not eat anything for 12 hours prior to your blood work. You may drink water.

3. Allow 15 minutes to complete these tests.

Exam Day

1. Please arrive promptly at the center at your scheduled time.

2. Valet parking is available at the Hale Parkway entrance of the Rose Founder's Building (4700 E. Hale Parkway).

3. No fasting is required on exam day unless you are having an abdominal ultrasound. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

4. Please bring your medications including all vitamins and supplements with you.

5. Your detailed medical history, physical examination, EKG, audiometry, pulmonary function testing, functional flexibility assessment, and scans will take approximately 2 hours.

6. You will return in the afternoon as scheduled to review your exam, laboratory results, scans, and recommendations. Plan to spend approximately 2 hours. We encourage you to invite your spouse or partner to join you.

7. At the conclusion of your exam, you will receive a complete file of your results, scan reports, and recommendations.

Payment

Because the exam and tests focus on prevention, it is not a covered benefit of Medicare, Medicaid, or most insurance companies. Full payment is expected at the time of your exam. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or personal check. We will give you a properly coded statement to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Payment is not guaranteed.
